About 2011 BMW 7 Series
Along with the 750i xDrive, the 750Li xDrive, and the 760Li introduced last fall, the 2011 line is supplemented by the first 6-cylinder 7 Series since 1992. The BMW Alpina B7 returns on the new BMW 7 Series platform as four models: Standard and long wheelbase versions, as well as in rear wheel drive and xDrive versions.
The 2011 750i and 750Li are the first 7 Series models ever to be offered with BMW's highly lauded xDrive All-Wheel-Drive system.
With its center stack lightly angled toward the driver, the control center promotes the driver's intuitive mastery of the vehicle: this is always a hallmark of BMW interior design. The interior's concept, layout, technology and design focus equally on the driver's needs and the passengers' well-being.
The 2011 7 Series models add a new way of distributing ambiance lighting. Harmonious illumination not only helps occupants orient themselves in the cabin at night, but also enhances the interior's high-quality character.
A new esthetic is delivered by a new moonroof design. Its 23.6 x 36.2-inch glass area makes the interior feel brighter and roomier; its front edge is curved parallel to the roof's front edge for an unusual design touch.
